Pho Phuong Vietnamese Restaurant Reviews
I recently visited this place on a friend’s recommendation and I was really impressed with the cozy ambiance and friendly staffs. I wanted to try something with both vegetables and meat, so they recommended the ‘House Special Vermicelli’ it was very delicious and beautifully presented with bean sprouts, sliced lettuce, pickled turnips, and a variety of tasty toppings like spring roll, Vietnamese ham stick, shrimp wrapped on sugar cane, grilled pork, and shredded pork skin. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture to show how lovely it is, but this dish is definitely worth trying! I also had the grilled chicken and avocado fresh rolls with the peanut sauce and they were just as fresh as the name suggests . Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I’d love to come back to try more dishes. Keep up the great workkkk!
I originally found this place on Uber eats and the meat quality was unmatched so I had to try the dine-in. Hands down one of the best places to get broken rice bbq meats dishes in the city! The bbq chicken were juicy, flavourful, and cooked perfectly. Also the very unique avocado shrimp fresh roll is a mush try. A tasty, no frills meal that's family run with and local vibes. Can't be beat.
The food was wonderful! I expected average Vietnamese food, but they surprised me with their quality, plating, and fair pricing. I usually don't give reviews, but my experience at the restaurant was very pleasing. I bought their spicy beef Pho, fairly priced at 16. They quickly surprised me with their big bowl of high-quality beef, noodles, and spicy soup. It was beautifully and elegantly plated, very appetizing and tasty! My friends bought the Pad Thai and a Pork Chop with rice. They said they were amazing and very worth 16. Their fried spring rolls were hot and delicious too. The servers were very friendly, and made sure that my order was well-made. The atmosphere was a modern Vietnamese aesthetic, simple yet pleasing. Very clean. Will definitely come back here!
Another great find for Vietnamese food. Very pleasant and comfortable dining experience. Beautiful interior design. People used to say you pay 50% for the food and 50% for your food. To most places, yes. But, this restaurant gave me more than what I expected. Their pad Thai has 6 big shrimps and their Vietnamese spring rolls are so well prepared. We also added an order of pad Thai chicken as well. Strongly recommend Pho Phuong to all my friends here.
The Vietnamese restaurant hack I learned from my brother in law: We like Vietnamese fried spring rolls so we order a vermicelli noodle dish and substitute rice instead of noodles. This way you get a spring roll and more veggies than the rice dishes. This place also wraps their fried spring rolls in rice wrap which gives them a chewier texture that I love.
Service was quick and very attentive to my requests. Had this refreshing spring roll & grilled chicken cold noodle dish....so good I came back the next day to eat it again! Also ordered the spring roll which was delicious. Couldn’t be happier to find a great local Vietnamese spot and can’t wait to try more of their menu
If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese flavors and a comforting bowl of rice noodles, this Vietnamese restaurant is a hidden gem that will take your taste buds on a delightful journey to Vietnam. The highlight of the menu here is undoubtedly the Pho. Whether you’re enjoying a classic bowl of Pho or a different noodle dish, the rice noodles are always perfectly cooked – soft yet slightly chewy with the ideal texture that pairs wonderfully with the rich broths. The noodles have a subtle, delicate flavor that complements the other ingredients without overpowering them. They serve as the perfect foundation for the bold, aromatic broths that are at the heart of Vietnamese cuisine.
The food is so delicious, especially Bun Bo Hue and Com Tam. The young waitress named Nguyen is very friendly and enthusiastic. I will come back if i travel to Toronto next time
